Born in Lithuania Anna-Marija Adomaitytė studied Contemporary Dance at La Manufacture (Haute école des arts de la scène) in Switzerland. Currently based in Geneva, Anna-Marija is an associated artist at L’Abri – Genève where she develops a choreographic research around the standardisation of gestures and the endurance of the body. Her first solo creation, workpiece, was presented in Lithuania, Switzerland and France. In parallel of her choreographic work, Anna-Maria holds Master’s degree in Fine Arts at ECAL (École cantonal d’art de Lausanne).
This year she has been selected as one of the Twenty22 artists of the European dance network Aerowaves with her performance PAS DE DEUX.
Verbal workshop “International dance scene”

During the workshop, the participants will get familiar with European contemporary dance scene. What are the most important contemporary dance universities in Europe and platforms which program the performances of emerging dance makers? What are the possibilities of working internationally? We will also discuss and revisit some of the most prominent artistic works of internationally acknowledged choreographers.
